Just today, I found out that Digital Point Forum got hacked and this is not something that happens all the time as the webmasters never saw it coming. I know that this is the first time that I was able to witness the actual hacking and saw what it looked like hacking the most prestigious forum in the SEO community and all webmasters.
I wish DP can get past this one fast because the threads that were hacked were in the major category, the Google category on Digital Point Forums.

Google Dance Affects Cebu SEO Contest
The Google dance affected the Cebu SEO contest today. I knew it when the difference in the results started to slap in my face right after I typed the keyword of the contest which is Cebu SEO contest. Even the forum members all over the SEO community and webmasters of diverse levels have complained about the Google dance.
I really don't care so much about this status but what I am worried about are the earnings of my sites. There is a very big difference between the ordinalry algorithm but this dance is a lot different compared to just your ordinary algo. This is the same cry of forum embers and webmasters all around.
Well, just having you guys out there prepare for the worst update yet once again. This could be another slap or this could be another update especially for those who are up to selling links.

Looking for Jobs in Dubai
More and more Filipinos and I bet there are a lot of local Cebu residents looking for jobs in Dubai and I am not surprised. The reason behind is because the economic crisis has really vested on us especially in Asian countries where the export of labor workforce is relentless.
People are looking for jobs in Dubai because they believe as well as I that the Emirates will not be as badly hit by the current recession happening in the West. Europe for example has felt the effect of the recession in the United States and started to see the effects in labor lay off in different businesses.
Filipinos in Europe felt this and for this reason, they are looking for other greener pastures to eat fresh grass in. Filipinos or OFWs are used to this kind of set up and it has made them the more stronger when we are talking about jobs and looking for jobs to other countries. Dubai, UAE is an ideal place to go find a job, in fact, many Europeans have seen refuge in the Emirates, particularly in Dubai. The reason for this is because Dubai is truly amazing.
The only industry however that felt a little set back from the recession in the US and crisis in Europe is the real estate industry where we all know Dubai is investing in for the preparation of incoming tourists and to increase their tourism to a larger extend next year. I hope this won't affect people who are looking for jobs in Dubai in the coming of the year 2009.

The Olypics Gold Medal Contest for Cebu SEO Contestant
The Philippines got no gold in the just concluded World Olympics. We got zero once again and what does this mean? i don't know anything about it or what happened to the gold hopefuls that we have. Our bets, I thought had the big chance but when they were already playing, not even a glimpse at channel 9 about the contest on gold.
Better luck next time, contests are really something that we cannot pretend to win, we have to win it otherwise, we are a bunch of loosers, just like our Olympic athletes. I want us to win a gold in the contest for countries to have as much gold as other countries. This is not like the Cebu SEO contest wherein even if you loose, there is still another day. In the Olympics that happens only every 4 years, by that time, if you loose today, you might be as old as my grandfather. This way, you do not stand a chance for any contest.

Who's Got The Sweet Top Spot - Cebu SEO Contest
It's Rachelle's Blog that has the top sweet spot today. I don't know what she's been doing lately but I don't mind at all. The second spot was occupied by the Cebu SEO Contest organizer but he is not included of course in the contest. The third sweet spot is occupied by blueken, the Capizeno while the fourth spot which will eventually be the third is occupied by the tblog Cebu SEO Contest entry of a friend.
So far there are other entries following the results that I provided here but there is no other choice for those because the said SEO contest is about to end soon n 5 days. Not much time and there is now only a few efforts left form me to go push an a Cebu SEO contest entry in the 8th spot. Here Goes...
